JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Account Director (AD) with Campaign Stars, you will be the point of contact between our company and our clients and occasionally our prospects and serve as a hands-on account lead to drive account retention and growth. More specifically, you’ll get to focus on one of two areas:

1.  Account Director - Hybrid (Bus Dev + Existing Customers)

2.  Account Director - Existing Customers


arrowServe as the lead point of contact for your clients while building and nurturing trusted, long-lasting relationships.

arrowManage a team of Project Managers engaged on your accounts and serve as a point of escalation to ensure your clients are served exceptionally.

arrowDevelop strategies to grow your existing accounts and ensure quality and cost-effective services.

arrowGain a deep understanding of your client’s needs and what they expect from our company to drive revenue growth.

arrowUse your outstanding communication skills to present to and influence key client team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.   Account Retention and Growth

a.   Serve as the point of contact for your clients. Build and grow your business relationship by delighting your client with awesome results and developing a deep understanding of how we can help them achieve their goals.

b.   Build out account plans focused on expanding your network within your client base and deepening your relationships with established contacts with the goal of cross selling and upselling with your group of clients.

2.   Project Oversight and Account Management

a.   Serve as the point of contact for your clients. Build and grow your business relationship by delighting your client with awesome results.

b.  Plan, develop, and defend budget recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide both profitable and quality service to clients.

c.  Provide detailed information and cost estimates to assure accurate data on which to plan and develop functional objectives and budgets leading to stable and profitable accounts.

d.  Oversee creative consultations with account teams to assure appropriate creative strategies, adequacy/accuracy of input, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews, and client presentations.

e.   Work with product and technical teams to simplify processes, platform, and pricing.

3.   Talent Coordination

a.   Maintain clear, concise daily communication with the team of project managers, writers, artists and production personnel.

b.   Oversee their execution of all creative efforts to ensure they are on strategy, on budget, and on schedule.

c.   Onboard new talent team members.

d.   Serve occasionally, as needed, as a hands-on talent member to actively deliver on client projects.

e.  Maintain external professional relationships to assure the ongoing availability of specialized expertise, gifted freelancers, and reputable studios/producers to add to the Campaign Stars talent pool.

4.   Internal Team Coordination

a.   Maintain clear, concise daily communication with the Project Management team.

b.   Oversee their execution of all client projects.

c.   Onboard new project managers and provide ongoing coaching and support.

d.   Assist project managers in troubleshooting as needed.

5.   General

a.   Provide leadership/motivation and convey the vision and values of Campaign Stars to prospects, clients, and team members.

b.   Support other functional team members (eg sales) as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

arrow5+ years of experience in digital marketing or demand generation.

arrow2+ years of experience in account management, including planning, executing and owning multiple campaigns from kick off to mapping goals and tracking and reporting.

arrow5+ years of experience in project management managing multiple projects across multiple accounts simultaneously.

arrow2+ years of experience with content experience platforms, digital advertising, and marketing automation platforms.

arrowTechnically savvy and enjoy diving into new applications. You’re not a developer and that’s ok; however, you embrace technology and are eager to be hands-on.

arrowSkilled in relationship building, communication, organization, follow-up, and follow-through.

arrowPreference for a startup growth environment and working within a small, nimble team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

arrow Has held a quota carrying sales role for a minimum of 18 mos.

arrowPrior supervisory experience, ideally in a demand generation role.

arrowBachelor’s degree.
