The Business Development Manager reports directly to the CEO/Founder and is responsible for optimizing current partner relationships, negotiating new partnerships, finding new revenue opportunities and executing deals in addition to refining and optimizing existing sales processes. The ideal candidate should have a passion for digital marketing in a fun, fast paced environment and have an ability to create innovative solutions to win new business. You should be the type of person that brings ideas on how to solve problems in a proactive and innovative way.
Own the sales lifecycle from lead generation through closing strategy and contract execution
Proactively initiates and develops relationships with potential clients
Crafts and manages complex pitches and prospect meetings
Contributes to new business strategy development along with executive leadership
2+ years of business development or sales experience
3+ years of overall Digital Marketing experience
Experience working with an inside sales team to drive conversations
Experience interfacing with external clients, partners and colleagues from entry level to executives
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Proven track record of building business within the digital marketing space (5+ years of experience)
CRM and deal flow management experience
Strong knowledge of Account Based Marketing (ABM)
